Andy Murray is without a doubt a great player with techniques that are worth incorporating into any aspiring players own technique. For example, his forehand technique is a great point scorer! Although Andy Murrays forehand technique is relatively simple and compact and doesn’t produce as much power compared to other players forehand shots such as Federer or Nadal, it allows him to have more control and accuracy.
Any Murray tends to have a steady shot and is described as a counter puncher. Even though he is more than capable and does hit big first serves and offensive returns, he does tend to let a rally develop before mixing up his shots and thinking about the right shot setup a point winner. He likes to play drop shots a lot bringing his opponents up close to the net, so he can hit the ball over them.
Despite his amazing talent, some would agree that he should play more aggressively to shorten rally’s and conserve energy.
